Charleston Wedding Officiants

Welcome to Classical Charleston’s Wedding Ceremony Officiant Page!  Classical Charleston is comprised of Professional Musicians who attend countless weddings each year.  That said, once our ensembles have played everyone down the aisle, the all-important Exchanging of Vows is the memory family members and friends will truly cherish for years to come.  Sitting behind my cello and laying witness to over 100 weddings each year, I’ve seen the best and worst of what Charleston has to offer with regard to Ceremony Officiants.  If I were a little more outgoing, I would officiate myself, but for now I’ll stick to the cello and what I do best!

This page is initially intended as an offering to our Classical Charleston string ensemble clients, but you are welcome to hire one of our vetted wedding officiants whether or not you decide to go with one of our live music performer(s) for your wedding day.  Our aim is simply to introduce you to a carefully selected and truly professional handful of Wedding Officiants that we feel do an extraordinary job.

Our lead officiant’s name is Arlene Felipe, seen in photos here.  Just ask to be put in touch and I’m confident that you’ll love her organization and warmth.  You’ll also appreciate the knowledge she brings to the table, as she helps to guide you and fully tailor your wedding ceremony as you see fit.

Again, an experienced wedding cellist such as myself, I’ve seen everything and everyone and am very critical of who officiates wedding ceremonies.  Our hand-picked officiants will be individuals that you’ll love working with and getting to know.  They will work with you to personalize your ceremony as much or as little as you desire, and are happy to perform ceremonies ranging from traditional and religious, to non-secular and non-denominational.  Each of our officiants are notaries and will submit your marriage license for you after the wedding as well, so you won’t have to worry about that extra trip to the Charleston County Courthouse.

We look forward to putting you in touch with one of our ceremony officiants, so get the ball rolling and shoot us a message.  We’ll be in touch soon!

Best,

Andrew Mille
